Update: 10-17-09 @ 9:30pm

Okay, so there are 14 days until NaNoWriMo starts! I have a plot, I have 3 characters of focus, and I have a book cover (of sorts). Check it out! (It's animated!)


Also, I'm busy at CafeMom designing in three groups, and having a blast with the holiday season around the corner (obviously, I'm going to take off for the month of November while I work on my novel). Check out my *tagsbyjas account to see a handful of my latest signature designs.

On the homefront - Little Lexi went to the ER earlier in the week and had her first x-ray. She'd been feverish and coughing for three days, and I got the run-around with Pediatrics, so we took her to the ER. She has the flu (the x-ray was to check for pneumonia).

I had been out two nights in a row (the first to get Little Lexi cough syrup - only to find out that the pharmacy doesn't carry it for under 2; the next night was the ER trip), and found out that I have allergies. I knew it wasn't a cold or a flu because I wasn't coughing, but my eyes were burning. So that's been fun for me.

Dear Husband is back in school. He received his Associates degree (complete with Honor cords), in September. I'm so proud of him. But now he's working on his Bachelors, and his first week back to school was the same week we've all been sick! So it's not shaping up to being a great start for him. But not to worry, I'll stick a hot poker up his tailpipe to get his butt in gear.
